Common questions

Where is my data kept?

On your phone. Solid has no server holding your entries, so nothing you log is uploaded to us. See the privacy policy for the detail.

How do I get my data out?

Open Report and export a PDF, which you can save or send anywhere. Settings also offers a full data export for moving to another app or keeping your own copy.

How do I delete everything?

Settings has a delete-all option that wipes your entries from the device. Removing the app does the same. If you had backup switched on, delete the backup from your iCloud or Google account too — that copy is in your account, not ours.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by the store, not by us, so cancelling happens there:

You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies — we cannot issue them ourselves, but tell us if something went wrong and we will help you make the case.

I paid but the app still asks me to subscribe

Open Settings and tap Restore purchases, making sure you are signed in with the same Apple or Google account you bought with. If it still will not unlock, email us and we will sort it out.

Can I use Solid on more than one device?

Yes, with the same store account. Your entries follow you if backup is switched on, since they travel through your own iCloud or Google account.

My body composition numbers are missing

Solid reads them from Apple Health or from whatever you type in. If nothing shows, check that Solid has permission in Health, or enter the figures by hand — a smart scale is convenient, not required.

Can Solid tell me what dose to take?

No, and it never will. Solid records and shows your own data. It gives no medical advice, makes no diagnosis, and recommends no dose or treatment. Those decisions belong to you and your doctor. Solid is not a medical device.

I have an idea for a feature

Please send it. Solid is built by one person and requests from people actually using it decide what gets built next.
